Islamabad (TNS) Bani Gala Police Conduct Major Operation Under Weapon-Free Islamabad Campaign According to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has intensified operations against individuals involved in the illegal possession and display of weapons under the Weapon-Free Islamabad campaign.In this regard, Bani Gala Police Station conducted a successful operation and arrested Muhammad Tariq, who was allegedly involved in the illegal possession of weapons. During the operation, the police team recovered six Kalashnikov-style automatic guns, one 9mm pistol and a large quantity of ammunition from his possession.A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that Islamabad Police is following a zero-tolerance policy against the illegal possession and display of weapons and aerial firing. He said that special police teams are conducting targeted operations against individuals involved in illegal weapons, and indiscriminate action is being taken against such elements.
