Islamabad (TNS) Police Hold Open Courts to Ensure Prompt Resolution of Citizens’ IssuesDIG Islamabad Ali Waseem and SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza hear citizens’ complaints, direct officers to ensure timely resolution According to the details, in line with the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, Islamabad Police are committed to resolving citizens’ issues promptly and providing timely relief. In this regard, DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem held an open court at his office, where he listened to citizens’ complaints and directed the concerned officers to ensure their immediate resolution.Similarly, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza held an open court at his office under the open-door policy. Citizens presented their complaints and issues, which were heard by the SSP Operations. He directed the concerned officers to take legal action on the marked applications within the stipulated time and submit reports accordingly.DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem said that resolving citizens’ issues promptly and strictly on merit is among the top priorities of Islamabad Police. He said citizens can also register their complaints and issues through the IGP Complaint Cell 1715. Islamabad Police are committed to reaching out to citizens through various initiatives and resolving their problems.He further said that IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry has directed all senior police officers to hold open courts across the district, while all zonal SPs are conducting open courts in their respective zones. Every citizen of Islamabad can openly present their issues at these open courts. The purpose of this public outreach initiative is to resolve citizens’ problems at their doorstep.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that Islamabad Police are pursuing a zero-tolerance policy against violence against women and children, while providing maximum relief to citizens remains a top priority. The rule of law will be ensured under all circumstances. Every citizen has equal rights, and all applications will be decided strictly on merit. The protection of citizens’ lives, property and dignity remains paramount.
