Rawalpindi (TNS) Dr. Mahfooz Ali, former Medical Officer at the District Hospital and head of the Citizen Consumer Forum, has expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister of Punjab for restoring the ‘Green Bus’ route passing through Fawara Chowk in Rawalpindi’s Raja Bazaar. In his statement, he noted that the Chief Minister is carrying out exemplary development work in the Rawalpindi Division, reflecting the vision of the PML-N leadership. He further stated that the transport mafia, in collusion with local traffic wardens, had caused the suspension of this bus route—an illegal move that had been causing hardships for the poor, students, laborers, and senior citizens. He also thanked the local leadership for refusing to yield to the blackmailing tactics of the transport mafia. Dr. Mahfooz added that the PML-N government enjoys popularity across Pakistan due to its exemplary performance.
