“I request the chief justice to constitute a bench in the first week of the Eidul Azha to review the Justice Baqar Najfi report regarding Modal Town tragedy, in which 14 PAT workers were martyred, and take the culprits to the task,” Qadrai said.

Commenting on Nawaz Sharif GTR rally, which is en-route to Lahore from Islamabad, he said people have rejected Nawaz Sharif rally by siding away themselves.

Lashing out at crushing of an innocent boy during the rally, Qadrai said that it was regretful that after killing the boy the rally passed without taking any notice of the incident and no one was stopped there to inquire after the deceased family.

On June 17, 2014, 14 PAT supporters were killed and dozens wounded when the police mounted an operation to remove barriers from a road leading to the PAT offices and Qadri’s residence in Lahore’s Model Town.
