6 floats, 5 galleries aboard as Azaadi Train sets for journey

KARACHI, Aug. 12 (TNS):  The Jashan-e-Azaadi (Independence Day Celebration) train has embarked from Margalla Station Islamabad. Symbolising the National culture, the Azaadi train will travel through different cities of the country i.e. Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sukkhur and Hyderabad.

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Maryam Aurangzeb, inaugurated the ceremony of Azaadi Train.The title of Inter-Services Public Relations’s (ISPR) bogie is ‘Hum Sab Ka Pakistan.’ The bogie symbolically illustrates the sacrifice and highlights the attainment of self sufficiency in means of defense as well as the achievement of restoration of Internally displaced persons(IDP).

The brutality of Indian army in Indian administered Kashmir is also depicted through images. Azaai Train will complete its journey by reaching its destination Karachi at 6 p.m on 25th August.
