Hot dry weather forecast in most parts of country

Islamabad (August 15, 2017): Met Office has forecast hot and dry weather is expected for most parts of the country in the next 24 hours.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in its weather advisory said that rain coupled with thunderstorm was expected at a few places in Malakand, Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.

It said that during last 24 hours weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However, rain and thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barkhan, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Yesterday’s highest temperature was recorded in Dadu at 42C, Turbat and Shaheed Benazirabad at 41C.
