ISLAMABAD Aug. 15 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday termed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project as game changer for the entire region.
Talking to Chairman Parliamentary Committee on CPEC Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said that CPEC was a game-changer not only for Pakistan but the entire region.
Abbasi said CPEC projects are testament to the ever strengthening China-Pakistan relations and will go a long way in securing a bright future for Pakistan.
He said CPEC projects are our government’s highest priority and he is personally supervising the progress of these projects.
The Prime Minister appreciated the role of Parliamentary Committee on CPEC in building a national consensus over CPEC projects.
Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed presented report of the Parliamentary Committee on CPEC to the Prime Minister.
