TAXILA, Aug 16 (TNS): The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) on Wednesday foiled a possible major terror bid by seizing huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives from a house from Taxila.
The police and sensitive agencies personnel on an intelligence tip-off conducted a joint raid at a house situated in Taxila.
During search of house, 12 Bore guns, 8 MM gun, 20 kilogram explosives, 35 detonators and foreign currency were recovered. One suspect identified as Abdul Rehman was arrested during the raid but he later managed to escape.
The LEAs recovered arms, ammunition, explosives, foreign currency and started investigation.
