No support to Nawaz ‘uncle’ this time: vows Bilwal

Lahore, August 17 (TNS): Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday vowed his party would not support former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

“Ruling party should not be under any state of confusion; we are not going to support them or provide any favour,” said Bilawal in a joint news conference with father Asif Zardari in Lahore.

“We are running our own political campaign and it has nothing to do with Nawaz, will not extend any sort of support to the Sharif family.”, he vowed.

Bilawal went on to say that his party in past too never supported PML-N but stood with democracy. “Democracy is not threatened by anything; it has no threats whatsoever,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Zardari said he could predicts no political future of ex-Premier or any other member of Sharif family.

“I have never received any favour from Nawaz Sharif, neither I will do so in future,” former President said.
