Rawalpindi, August 17 (TNS): Total 23 road traffic crashes were reported in District Command and Control Room, Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi and Murree, during the last 24 hours, said a statement issued by the organization.
The statement said that during rescue efforts, 18 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals of Rawalpindi However, 6 victims, who sustained minor injuries, were provided first aid at spot by Emergency Medical Teams.

One victim died in road traffic crashes, it added.
According to the data, 14 drivers, 07 pedestrians and 04 passengers were among the victims of these road traffic crashes.
The further details show that total 25 victims were affected by road traffic crashes included 20 males and 05 females, while age group of the victims show that 04 were under 18 year of age, 18 were between 18 to 40 years, 02 were between 41 to 60 years of age and 01 was above 60 years of age.
