ISLAMABAD Aug. 18, (TNS): Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Takashi Kurai called on Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar here.
According to Finance Ministry sources, matters pertaining to bilateral relations and enhanced economic cooperation between Pakistan and Japan came under discussion.
Dar told the Japanese ambassador that Pakistan wishes to enhance economic ties with Japan which has been a long time partner of Pakistan.
The Japanese ambassador assured the finance minister that his country is keen to extend support for economic development of Pakistan.
