Shehbaz Sharif forbids giving statements against state institutions

LAHORE AUG 19 (TNS): Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday urged the party leaders and officials to desist from making any comments that can harm the state institutions.

โ€œThe party officials should not indulge in conjectures and guesses which could damage the integrity of national institutions as Pakistan cannot afford a clash between institutions, said Shehbaz Sharif.

In a vague reference to the PTI, the Chief Minister said due to obstinacy of the โ€˜sit-in partyโ€™, the national economy has already severely suffered. It was nothing more than an attempt to ruin the economy, he added.
