Islamabad, August 24 (TNS): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested two owners of travel agencies involved in the Hajj corruption scandal, from different areas of Islamabad.
FIA team raided travel agencies offices named as ‘Sabba’ and ‘Hashmi’ located in Islamabad’s Blue Area and arrested two culprits involved in fraud.
Those arrested including Nasir Abbas and Muhammad Ajmal who were allegedly involved in fraud with Hajj pilgrims.
The duo tour operators looted millions of rupees from 108 people who paid them full payment for Hajj pilgrimage.
The tour operators had no quota but received money from those innocent people.
FIA officials also recovered fake document and money from the duo.
