ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (TNS): PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT chief Tahirul Qadri again failed to appear before anti-terrorism court on Thursday during hearing of the SSP Asmatullah Junejo torture case.
During the hearing the court again summoned details of Imran and Qadri’s assets and directed prosecution witnesses to record their statements on August 31.
It is to be mentioned here that Imran and Qadri have been declared as proclaimed offenders in the case.
The court, which earlier this month ordered to temporarily seize the properties of Imran and Qadri till their production in court; had adjourned the hearing to August 24.
Imran and Qadri among scores of PTI and PAT activists have been booked in attack on SSP Operations Islamabad Junejo and damaging and ransacking during 2014 dharna.
