NASIRABAD, Aug 25 (TNS): One person was killed in a landmine blast here on Friday.
Levies sources said, unknown miscreants had planted landmine by roadside in Chattar area of Dera Murad Jamali in Nasirabad district when a passerby stepped on it.
The landmine exploded with big bang resulting in death of the man on the spot. The body was shifted to hospital where it was handed over to heirs after medico-legal formalities.
The security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and launched search operation in the area.
