MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Aug 27 (TNS): A woman died and a youngster sustained serous injuries when a truck hit a motorcycle here on Sunday, officials say.
Local police said that an over speeding truck knocked down a motorcycle carrying two people at Phalia Road in Mandi Bahauddin.
Female motorcyclist died on the spot while a youth was seriously injured.
The truck driver escaped from the scene, police said adding that the body and injured were shifted to hospital.
The police impounded the truck and after registering a case against the driver at large have started efforts for his arrest.
