Two security personnel among 4 killed in landmine blasts in South Waziristan, Panjgur

PESHAWAR/PANJGUR, Aug 28 (TNS):  At least two security forces personnel were killed in a landmine blast in Angoora Adda area of South Waziristan on Monday.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the blast occurred in the remote Angoora Adda area of South Waziristan when security forces carried out a search operation.

The martyred security forces personnel were identified as Attaur Rehman and Ali Imran.

In another incident, at least two people were killed when a car struck a landmine here on Monday.

Police said that a car with two people on board struck a landmine planted by roadside by unknown miscreants in Pajak area of Panjgur.

 

The car was adversely damaged in the blast resulting in death of both motorists on the spot and they bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem where they were handed over to heirs.
