TANDO ALLAHYAR Aug. 29 (TNS): According to details, Twelve-year-old Zoya Binte Nazir was electrocuted when 11,000-volt high power line broke and fell over her in Sheedi Muhalla area in Tando Allahyar.
Zoya was an orphan and only bread earner for her sick mother. The incident infuriated the residents who staged a protest against Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO).
The angry protesters blocked the road by burning tyres in front of HESCO office. They also raised slogans against HESCO officials.
