LONDON, Aug 30 (TNS): After former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s arrival here on Wednesday to see his ailing wife, several other politicians are also descending in London for excursions or some other plans.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Fawad Chaudhary will reach London on Friday and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed over the weekend.
Chaudhry is scheduled to address six meetings, while Rasheed-led AML has announced four sessions in London.
PTI chief Imran Khan is likely to arrive here in the second week of September. He has been invited by his friend Naeem Musarrat on his daughter’s wedding on September 9.
It has been learnt that some other senior members of the PTI would also be coming to attend the wedding ceremony of Musarrat’s daughter.
Moreover, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr. Asim Hussain is also expected to arrive in London for his medical treatment.
