LAHORE Aug. 31 (TNS): Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has challenged PML-N opponents for September 17 contest in NA 120.
Addressing the PML N supporters, she said that the lion will roar and people will cast their votes to their only leader Nawaz Sharif on the voting day of NA-120 by poll.
Maryam Nawaz amid the shower of rose petals and emotional slogans about her and Nawaz Sharif urged the people to vote for the PML-N candidate Kalsoom Nawaz, who is under medical treatment in London.
The PML-N workers and supporters chanted slogans- Wazir-e-Azam Nawaz Sharif and warmly welcomed her at arrival in the constituency for inauguration of election office in Mohni Road.
“You people have to expose conspirators on September 17 and apprise the world that Nawaz Sharif is living in your hearts,” she said adding that the jugglers of politics will flee from the Lahore on September 17.
She asked, “When former PM Nawaz Sharif was serving the people, what were they doing, adding she said “They were hatching conspiracies against Nawaz Sharif.
