He asked Muslims to play their role to establish peace in the world and not to commit excesses against each other and against non-Muslims. Imam Dr Saad Bin Nasir Al-Shatari said Muslims should contribute to establish a society based on equality and free from ignorance and heresy.

He said a Muslim society is based on discipline, which is the only way for progress and prosperity.

Imam Dr Saad Bin Nasir called on Muslims to act upon Shariah and follow the teachings of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) for their salvation.

He prayed for the return of Masjid-e-Aqsa to Muslims and freedom of Palestinian people.

“Save yourselves from nationalism, ethnicity and grouping. Islam prohibits terrorism, violence and bloodshed,” the Sheikh said.

He called upon media of the Muslim world to play role for the unity of Muslim Ummah.

“The peace and tranquility of mind can only be found through the religion,” he said.

The pilgrims listened to Hajj sermon. They offered Zohar and Asr prayers together and stayed at Arafat till the call for Maghrib prayer.

After Azaan-e-Maghrib, they left for Muzdalfa where they will offer Maghrib and Isha prayers and spend the night under the open sky.
