LAHORE, September 05 (TNS): Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday left for London to enquire about the health of his sister-in-law and wife of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
According to reports, the chief minister will also meet Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders in London.
Earlier, Begum Kulsoom, who is also contesting in NA-120 by-poll from PML-N side, had successful surgery as she was suffering from throat cancer.
Sacked premier Nawaz Sharif reached London on Thursday morning where he met his wife and celebrated Eid with other family members including his younger daughter and Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar’s daughter-in-law Asma Ali.
Punjab CM’s sons Salman Shahbaz and Hamza Shahbaz had also visited London due to their personal engagements.
