LAHORE, Sep 6 (TNS): Punjab government has consented to issue arms licenses to its 27 officials.
The decision was taken against the backdrop of growing threats of terrorism.
Soon after the decision, licenses were issued to nine officials. Sources privy to development said that Punjab govt had instructed law enforcement agencies to give protocol to officials performing duties in intelligence departments and on key positions.
