PESHAWAR, Sep 06 (TNS): The FATA chapter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration to condemn the barbaric massacre of Muslims in Myanmar outside Peshawar Press Club.

The party workers from FATA chapter led by Iqbal Afridi assembled outside the Peshawar Press Club chanted thundering slogans against the government of Myanmar and the US and expressed concerns about the silence of the world community about the genocide of Muslims in Myanmar.

Addressing the protestors the speakers said that silence adopted by the United Nations over the state-abetted genocide of unarmed Muslims in Myanmar is an explanation of American policy that its war is not against the oppressors but is really against Islam.
