CHARSADDA, Sep 09 (TNS): In a hapless incident on Kabul River, a driver died and two others sustained injuries when part of historic bridge collapsed near Sardaryab here on Saturday
According to local police authorities, the incident happened when a truck loaded with 400 cement bags tried to cross the bridge. Dead body of the ill-fated driver and two injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital while heavy machinery has been called to remove the rubble.
Travelers are suffering due to collapse of the bridge.
