Islamabad, Sept. 14 (TNS): Pakistan has strongly condemned the unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control, state media reported on Thursday.

In a tweet message, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria regretted that India is deliberately targeting civilian population along working boundary.

He said Indian actions are detrimental to peace in the region.

His statement came as Indian troops again resorted to unprovoked firing in Phuklian Sector, Chirikot and Kailer sectors along Working Boundary last night.

According to ISPR, Pakistan Rangers effectively responded and targeted Indian posts firing on civil population.

An innocent citizen of Dewra village, Muhammad Zahoor embraced shahadat due to the unprovoked firing.
