Islamabad, September 15 (TNS): Hundreds of people of surrounding rural areas of Islamabad staged huge protest against plots’ balloting conducted by Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Protesters gathered outside the Chairman CDA office and chanted slogans against the civic body and its employees involved in mega embezzlement.
Hundreds people belong to villages Dherk Mori, Seri Siral, Bekar Akku, Maira Beri, Sunyari, Dharmia, Sehala, Golra, Badia and Bekha Syedan were protesting on the occasion.
The protesters termed chairman CDA as a biggest crook and demanded that his team member including Admin Director Land to be dismissed blaming that these officials had illegally made millions of rupees by spoiling the rights of the hundreds of people in process of plots’ balloting.
Addressing the protesters, Qamar Shah, Malik Jamshed, Haji Ghulam Ahmed, Haji Wazir,l Qayyum Khan and other said that native people of Islamabad district would not give up their rights.
