QUETTA Sept 17 (TNS): Balochistan government is taking all necessary steps to provide potable water to the residents of the far-flung areas.
Talking to various delegations in Qilla Saifullah on Saturday, the Balochistan Minister for Public Health Engineering Department Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai said water pumps will be installed in remote villages of the province to meet shortage of drinking water.
He said a major project is in progress in Zhob under the governor’s special funds at a cost of fifty million rupees to ensure supply of drinking water to the city and its outskirts.
