ISLAMABAD Sep 19 (TNS)  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has accepted defeat in Sunday’s by-elections in National Assembly constituency NA-120 where Begum Kulsoon Nawaz of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) emerged victorious against PTI’s Dr Yasmeen Rashid.

Imran Khan blamed that PML-N ministers were running the campaign of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. He took a jibe at the voters who voted for PML-N in the by-election, saying it was like raising slogan in favour of ‘thief’ after theft at their house.

He said that the PTI could have won the NA-120 by-election but we started the election campaign a bit late.

Imran Khan compared the PML-N with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of past year and said that the people fear the PML-N.

Imran Khan said that the number of PML-N voters has decreased which shows the real victory of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
