During the proceedings, the court remarked that respect of courts does not decrease with the speeches in public rallies.

The judge further remarked that how can the High Court take action when the Supreme Court didn’t take notice.

The petitioner had submitted that Maryam Nawaz was targeting judiciary in her speeches thus committing contempt of court. He added that the people were concerned over the anti-judiciary statements and speeches of Maryam Nawaz.
