RAWALPINDI, Sept 19 (TNS): A woman was killed and husband injured in firing of armed men here on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place in Peoples Colony Rawalpindi where armed men barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire at the couple present in the house.
The woman was killed on the spot in the firing while her husband sustained bullet wounds. The attackers fled the scene after committing the crime.
The body and injured were moved to hospital for medico-legal formalities while the police after registering a case into the incident started the investigation.
