Islamabad, Sept 19 (TNS): Hundreds people belong to rural areas of Islamabad staged protest against discriminating policies of Housing Foundation.
Protesters, who were carrying banner, poster and were chanting slogans against the Housing Foundation, blocked the Park Road. The protesters said that they will not let allow the foundation to settle outsiders on their own land.
The protesters also complained that agricultural land, which was key source of their earning, has been grabbed by the Housing Foundation. A large number of women also participated in the protest.
Leaders of political parties as well as high officials of district administration and police personnel were also present on occasion. The protesters dispersed after peaceful demonstration.
