OPC helps vacate plots worth Rs 8 million

TOBA TEK SINGH Sept 21 (TNS):   Due to the relentless efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, 2 plots belonging to an expatriate Pakistani worth Rs 8 million have been got vacated from the illegal occupants.

Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt informed this during a meeting. DG OPC, Javed Iqbal Bokhari was also present on this occasion. VC OPC told that Muhammad Iqbal of United Arab Emirates, filed a complaint that some influential persons have illegally captured his 2 plots situated in Green City town and UK gardens, District Toba Tek Singh.

OPC referred this complaint to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC), Toba Tek Singh and after the efforts of members of DOPC, both plots were got vacated and handed over to Muhammad Iqbal. Shaheen Khalid Butt further added that with the help of a modern web portal, complaints of Overseas Pakistanis are processed and monitored properly to ensure quick disposal.
