ISLAMABAD Oct 2 (TNS): Chief of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Mahmood Khan Achakzai on Monday called for unity among the ranks of political parties for strengthening democracy.
He said this during his meeting with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Punjab House today. Sources said that during the meeting, Achakzai assured Nawaz Sharif of his full cooperation.
They said that during the meeting both the leaders discussed political situation of the country and NAB cases against Sharif family.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif also called on Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, the discussed today’s appearance before the accountability court and related issues.
They also discussed overall situation of the country and government affairs.
