ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (TNS): The establishment division on Thursday issued notifications for transfers, postings and promotions of 11 officers of various departments and divisions to their top grades.
According to notifications Capt. (retd) Jahanzeb Khan, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted under government of Punjab, is promoted to BS-22, in Pakistan Administrative Services, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan with immediate effect.
On promotion, he is transferred and posted as Secretary States and Frontier Regions Division with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Services, Furqan Bahadur Khan, presently posted as Additional Secretary Petroleum and Natural Resources Division is promoted to BS-22 in Pakistan Administrative Services as Special Secretary Interior Division with immediate effect.
Similarly Syed Sohail Altaf, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Services, presently posted as Additional Secretary Cabinet Division is promoted to BS-22 as Secretary to Government of Pakistan.
On promotion, he is transferred and posted as Chairman Pakistan Tobacco Board under Commerce Division.
Besides, the services of Aamir Ashraf Khawaja has also been promoted from BS-21 to BS-22 and posted as Secretary National Security Division with immediate effect.
Moreover, Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan administrative Service presently posted under government of the Punjab is promoted to BS-22 and he will remain at the disposal of government of Punjab until further orders.
The services of Maroof Afzal has also been promoted from BS-21 to BS-22 and he has been posted as Secretary Industries and Production Division.
Another BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Services Shaista Sohail has also been promoted to BS-22 and posted as Special Secretary Cabinet Division.
Irfan Ali, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted under government of Punjab is promoted to BS-22 in Pakistan Administrative Service as Secretary to Government of Pakistan. On promotion he is transferred and posted as Secretary Privatization Division/Commission with immediate effect.

Rizwan Memon, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Services presently posted as Chief Secretary Government of Sindh is promoted to BS-22 as Secretary to government of Pakistan and will continue as Chief Secretary Government of Sindh.
Similarly the services of Arif Elahi, has been promoted to BS-22 in Pakistan Administrative Service, as Secretary to government of Pakistan and he will continue as Chairman Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, Karachi.
Another BS-18 officer of Pakistan Service, Rana Muhammad Waqas Anwar who is presently posted under government of Gilgit Baltistan is transferred to his services are placed at disposal of government of Punjab with immediate effect.
