Canadian citizen’s parents thank Pak Army for rescuing their son, family

ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (TNS): Parents of Canadian citizen Joshu Boyle have thanked Pakistan Army for rescuing their son and his family from terrorists.

The Pakistan Army on Thursday recovered Joshu Boyle along with his wife and three from terrorists in an operation based on intelligence shared by the United States.

“Profound thanks for the courageous Pakistan soldiers, who rescued their lives,” Joshu’s father Patrick said in a video message.

Patrick also thanked American and Afghan governments as well as their own Canadian team for playing role in the recovery of hostage family.

Joshu’s mother, who along with her husband also appeared in the video, expressed her happiness at the news of her son and his family’s rescue.

She said she had talked to her son for the first time in five years. “It was amazing and he told us how much his children were looking forward to meet their grandparents. Thanks everybody for all the best wishes,” she added.
