Deprived and downtrodden residents of UC-8, considered to be the most backward union council of Rawalpindi city, doesn’t hesitate to express their satisfaction for what the Govt has offered to them as compared to the previous Govts of the province. Although there is a lot to be done in the areas like this but the people are happy with the provision of clean drinking water and waste management, things they have been demanding for so long but not fulfilled.

‘’The blocked sewerage lines and non availability of culverts to connect within and outside the area was the main problem we have been facing for so long but the present govt has taken initiatives and got us rid of these problems with better planning and its timely execution.’’ People of the area said.

Beside dispensaries the non availability of schools for girls and boys is still a big deprivation people of this UC are facing but they have pinned hopes on CM Shahbaz Sharief for the resolution of remaining problems.
