CHICHAWATNI, Oct 16 (TNS): The police arrested eight outlaws including drug peddlers, recovered arms and drugs during separate actions here on Monday.
Reports say the police during a crackdown near Chichwatni Roller Floor Mills in the main city arrested five criminals with arms including rifle, pistol and dozens of rounds of different bores.
Meanwhile, the police during raids in Lakkar Mandi, Railway Crossing and Shahkot localities apprehended three drug peddlers besides recovery of hashish and liquor.
The police confiscated the recovered arms, drugs and the detainees were being interrogated after registering cases against them at concerned police stations.
