Islamabad, Oct 21 (TNS): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan has become cradle of peace due to the sacrifices of the security forces and people of the country.
Addressing a function at Pakistan National Council of the Arts in Islamabad, she said that all the communities of the country are fully independent to prosper and develop without any fear.
She said that active participation of the people of all faiths in their religious festivals is the fruit of government’s policies and counter terrorism strategy during the last four years.
The Minister of State said that there is a need to strengthen tolerance culture in the country. She said there can be difference of opinion but the main objective should be the development of the country.
