GILGIT, Oct 23 (TNS):Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman here Monday took notice of murder threats given to media coordinator and senior journalist, Habibur Rehman and sought report from IGP Gilgit Baltistan in this regard.
An unknown person through social media and telephone conversation had given life threats to media coordinator and senior journalist, Habibur Rehman for making effective publicity of the government’s peoples welfare projects these days.

The accused person had also used derogatory remarks and indecent language against the Chief Minister through telephone contact and social media.
The Chief Minister phoned Hahibur Rehman and inquired from him about the details of the incident and assured of taking strict action against the responsible elements. In this connection, police have been directed to take immediate action against the culprits, says an official statement.
