ISLAMABAD, Oct. 23 (TNS): Ambassador Republic of Poland Piotr A. Opalinski on Monday dispelled the impression that his country had supported Pakistan’s missile and nuclear program.
Clarifying media reports in this regard, he said while speaking in an English speaking union’s function the other day, he had not mentioned anything about Poland’s alleged support to Pakistan in the development of the said program.
He was misquoted in the media’s reports. He had just stated that first director of SUPARCO was a retired Air Force officer, a former member of Polish Forces in the UK.
