ISLAMABAD Nov 01 (TNS): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is the biggest proof of time-tested friendship between the two countries.
Talking to representatives of chamber of commerce in Islamabad today (Wednesday), he said China made commitment of forty-six billion dollars in Pakistan when the latter was facing different issues, including energy shortage.
The Minister said the opportunity needs to be fully exploited by Pakistan. He assured the government’s support for enhancing cooperation in private and industrial fields between experts of both the countries.
Ahsan Iqbal said the next meeting of Joint Cooperation Committee under CPEC will prove to be a milestone for industrial cooperation between Pakistan and China.
He said interests of domestic industry will be protected.
