Islamabad, Nov. 1 (TNS): The Senate was informed that one window Facilitation Desks have been established at all major international airports in Pakistan to resolve issues of overseas Pakistanis.
Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Pir Syed Saddaruddin Shah Rashidi said that the online system for registration and redress of grievance has been centralized and upgraded to facilitate the overseas Pakistanis and their families.
He said a monitoring and complaint cell has been established to facilitate the overseas Pakistani round the clock on helpline at 111-040-040.
The House was also told that the government is working to expand the horizon of Prime Minister’s National Health Program in all district of the country.
Responding to a question during the Questions Hour, Minister of State for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Dr. Darshan said that in the first phase, the program is being implemented in forty districts.
He said the program is designed to provide financial protections to families living below poverty line for healthcare services.
The Minister said through Prime Minister’s National Health Program, each enrolled beneficiary family is entitled of secondary indoor healthcare services worth fifty thousand rupees per year and seven priority indoor healthcare services worth of two hundred and fifty thousand rupees per year.
Minister for Communication, Hafiz Abdul Kareem informed the House that the maintenance and repair work on Havelian to Mansehra road is carried out on regular basis at different locations as and when required.
The Minister said the section from Havelian to Mansehra is getting urbanized very quickly to redress traffic jam related issues.
To a question, Minister for Postal Services Maulana Ameer Zaman said that Pakistan Post is offering full range of traditional and express postal services competitive to the private sector.
He said the department has introduced various new services to provide relief to the common man.
He said Pakistan Post has provided 1961 motorcycles to postmen for prompt disposal of postal mail.
