LAHORE Nov 02 (TNS): IGP Punjab Capt: retired Arif Nawaz Khan has said that the competent, dutiful and honest officers and personnel are pride of Punjab Police.
He further said that Additional IG captain retired Usman Khattak is among those officers who always observed merit system and public service during their tenure of service. He also said that these hard working and dutiful officers squarely increased the respect and decorum of department.
He expressed these views while addressing the farewell ceremony of former acting IG Punjab Captain retired Usman Khattak. Addl: IGP, D&I, Ejaz Hussain Shah , Addl: IG PHP, Amjad Javed Saleemi, Addl: IGP Establishment Punjab, Azhar Hameed Khokhar, Addl: IGP Welfare & Finance, Muhammad Tahir, Addl: IGP Operations Punjab, Mohsin Hassan Butt, Addl: IGP Training Punjab, Tariq Masood Yaseen Addl: IGP Investigation Punjab, Abu Bakar Khudabakhsh, DIG Operations Punjab, Aamir Zulfiqar, DIG Establishment-II, Salman Chaudhary, DIG Safe City Project, Ali Amir Malik, DIG Headquarters Punjab, BA Nasir, DIG Development, Kamran Khan, DIG SPU, Faisal Ali Rana, DIG Welfare, Wasim Sial, DIG D&I, Shehzada Sultan, DIG IT, Sharik Kamal Siddiqui and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
Capt: retired Usman Khattak started his service as ASP on 5th November 1984. He belonged to 12th common batch of Police. He served in many districts as SP Bhakkar, Jehlum, Rawalpindi, DPO Toba Tek singh, DPO DG Khan, DPO Narowal, Deputy commandant Police college Sahala, DIF Traffic Lahore, DIG VVIP security special branch Lahore and Rawalpindi, Additional IG Training and Additional IG Investigation in his tenure. While in service He also served in Bosnia with UN peace mission. In farewell ceremony all the officers of central police office paid homage to Usman Khattak as a role model for young officers.
Additional IG captain retired Usman Khattak said in his address that I have been successful throughout my service by the grace of almighty Allah. In the end of the ceremony IG Punjab captain retired Arif Nawaz awarded souvenir to Capt: retired Usman khattak in recognition of his service.
