Islamabad, Nov. 2 (TNS): Referring Sharjeel Memon’s case, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Thursday that they are not against accountability but they should also not be discriminated.

Speaking at a press conference, the former minister  recalled the arrest of former Sindh minister Sharjeel Memon by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials at Islamabad airport and said, “Memon was not allowed to step down from the plane.

Taking exception to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership, Kaira said that Imran Khan should see the people standing beside him. “The PTI chief speaks against corruption with his ‘ATM machine’ standing next to him,” he remarked.

PPP leader asked Imran Khan to abandon individuals facing corruption cases from his party’s ranks.
