Dubai, Nov. 3 (TNS): Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is hoping to get cleared by the ICC over his suspect action after undergoing bowling action tests in England, Arab media reported on Friday.

The 37-year-old undertook the tests at the Loughborough University and was confident that his action will fall under the permissible limits set by the ICC.

“The test went good and I bowled some balls, which, according to me, were bowled with a legal action, so hoping for a good result,” Hafeez said.

Hafeez had been reported of a suspect bowling action during the third ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the UAE in October. This was the third time that the veteran had been reported in the last three years.

The Pakistan man has already served a one-year suspension from bowling after he was reported for the second time in 2015.

Hafeez had then sought the services of spin-bowling consultant Carl Crowe who helped him return with a permissible action after his one-year ban from bowling.
