ISLAMABAD Nov 4 (TNS): Custom Intelligence have thwarted an attempt to smuggle over one thousand smart phones from Dubai to Islamabad and arrested a couple at the Benazir International Airport.
According to custom officials, the arrested man named Wasim was one of the most wanted smugglers. Wasim along with his wife tried to smuggle over one thousand smart phones from Dubai to Islamabad but Custom Intelligence thwarted his bid.
Wasim and his wife were taken into custody. Director General Custom Intelligence, Shaukat Ali, was himself present at the airport to supervise the operation.
