Malik condemns attacks on leader of PPP Islamabad chapter

Islamabad, Nov. 5 (TNS): Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday condemned attack on Malik Jamshed, Vice President of PPP Islamabad chapter.

Malik Jamshed was injured in a knife attack here late Saturday night.

Police said unidentified miscreants attacked Malik Jamshed with a knife in Sector D-13 of the federal capital, injured him and fled.

He was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for treatment.

Rehman Malik as chairman of Senate on Interior has taken notice if coward attack.

He strongly condemned the attack on PPP local leader , urging the authorities to bring the culprits to book.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad police have started the investigation after registering a case.

Malik sought an immediate report from Islamabad police.
