Review meeting on water commission subjects held

KARACHI Nov 11 (TNS): Chief Secretary Sindh Rizwan Memon has emphasized upon submission of timely reports in implementation of various court orders, including instructions of the higher authorities.

He asked the Administrative Secretaries and heads of the departments to prioritize the compliance of their task in accordance with their chartered functions.

He was presiding a review meeting on the report of commission on inquiry with the specific reference of water commission in CP No. 38/2016 in Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Secretary Irrigation Syed Jamal Mustafa Shah who is also the Chairman of Task Force for ensuring provision of clean drinking water to all citizens of Sindh Province, presented report regarding the mandatory responsibilities. Secretary Health Dr. Fazlullah Pechuho informed that the report of Health Department for arrangements of potable water, senilation and sterilizing duties, submitted to Advocate General Sindh has been marked satisfactory.

The Chief Secretary asked the Secretary Local Government to submit action status on the observations pertained to SBCA (Sindh Building Control Authority) regarding high rise buildings. Rizwan Memon also advised the participants to highlight their projects by installing emblem, name of the project and indicating Government of Sindh- being concerned authority of the projects.
