People of Afandi Colony Rawalpindi all praise for Punjab Govt for making their UC-26 thrive

RAWALPINDI, Oct 11 (TNS): Union Council No-26 Afandi Kundi, falling in in NA-56 and PP-12 is a densely populated Union Council of central Rawalpindi. The government paid special attention to the development of this area despite the fact that PML-N lost both National and Provincial assembly seats from here.

TNS team, while visiting the area, has witnessed that may it be the provision of better health facilities, water supply, sanitation or modern travel facility, almost everyone of this UC is with all praise for CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for making their area flourish.

The representatives of trade unions also acknowledge that CM Punjab has focused on the development of this area without any bias or discrimination. Albeit the repairing and widening of sewerage lines is a must thing to do as people face difficulties as streets of the area get submerged during rainy days.

Development work of billions including placement of 2 km’s long Gas pipeline from chandni chowk to Data Gunj bakhsh Road and TBS, another TBS in Afandi colony, availability of a graveyard, Building water tanks, installation of 2 tube wells another six in pipeline, replacement of sewage lines Avandi colony, construction of roads  in C-block afandi colony, Gazali road and a street no 4 over a nullah are the jobs done by Punjab Govt for which it won the hearts and minds of the people of these areas.

But at the same time people are having a strong demand for the eradication of street crime and freeing roads and streets from encroachment.
